Government, the required social studies course for seniors not enrolled in AP American Government and Politics.

This course concentrates on the parts of government-what they are, why they exist and how they work. The processes of governing and how they impact your life everyday. For instance, government determines the minimum wage, safety features of the car you drive, and most of the graduation requirements at Mankato East.  Current issues and problems may be focused on individually or used as a guide for merging government with contemporary life.
