Prom Event Details

Attire: Dance will be outdoors in the courtyard, please dress appropriately for the weather. Dress in what makes you feel best. Layers and comfortable shoes are encouraged. 

Grand March: Grand March will be conducted in a drive-thru fashion from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. We encourage you to bring noise makers, posters, cheer, and celebrate all of our prom-goers. 

Students: (participation is not required)
-If you plan to participate in the Grand March please be at the school no later than 3:45 p.m. 
-Park in the Senior High student parking lot
-Go to the pool sidewalk for line-up

Viewers:
-Grand March will take place on the service road of East High School. Please enter Thomas Drive (tennis court road to junior high lot) from the East side. The right lane of traffic must stay clear. Follow markers and traffic controllers for line-up.

-Viewers please remain in your vehicle at all times and move forward in a timely manner

Dance: 
The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel 
901 Raintree Rd, Mankato, MN 56001

-Entry to dance will begin promptly at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. No admittance will be allowed after this time. 

-Students will enter through the “Event” entrance at the rear of the hotel. Entry will not be allowed through the main entrance. 

-Music will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 10 p.m.

-No re-entry will be allowed

Entrance to the dance will require the following:
-Health Screening Pass (personal health screening at home and by school officials at the entrance)

-Prom Covid-19 Waiver

-Prom Ticket (E-mailed to you. This will either need to be shown via cell phone or printed. Students may request a printed copy from Mrs. Hed prior to the event or personally printed at home. Each ticket is specifically designed for each participant so please make sure you are printing yours.)
