Social Worker

The role as a social worker is to work with students who have obstacles that are preventing them from fulfilling their academic engagement. These obstacles include homelessness, attendance issues, resources of basic needs, mental health challenges, and other psychosocial concerns. Various support groups such as grief, anxiety, and restorative circles are facilitated by the social worker along with the rest of the support team. The school social worker also reaches out to families through home visits, community relationships, and support meetings.
